Two Rivers Public Charter School Reviews

This school have a wonderful staff. I work hand and hand with the kids.

I have developed two concrete opinions that relate to the school. 1.) It's great and 2.) it needs improvement. Location and quality of the facilities are fantastic, cleanliness against an urban settings strike a favorable balance. Teachers are young-minded and energetic, progressive problem solving sits well with the children. Another important control is the weekly 'community meeting' which tends to bond every classroom as part of a whole unit. The older students get to know the younger students; thus, creating a common social fabric. The uniforms, while allowing self expression through variety, contribute to the unity. The 'needs improvement' part: Albeit, the school is very new, the administrative office seems to have a disconnect with the teachers and the parents which leaves a lot of guessing and speculation. Although there is a weekly newsletter, there is no known parent/teacher/administrative channel that allows for open exchange of issues and ideas.
